SINOPSIS
Tiene lugar en una en la ciudad de Rutherford, Ohio, inexistente en la vida real. Una nave extraterrestre avanza intrépidamente hacia donde los extraterrestres nunca han ido antes: la Tierra. Adoptando la identidad de humanos, estos visitantes se encuentran con un choque cultural de proporciones astronómicas cuando se enfrentan a la forma extravagante y disparatada de la vida en nuestro planeta. Más extraño aún son sus nuevos cuerpos, que constantemente los asombran con sorpresas como la pubertad y la pasión, como cuando el Alto Comandante (John Lithgow) se enamora perdidamente de su compañera de trabajo terráquea (Jane Curtin). Con una sátira sofisticada y una farsa alocada, 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN ofrece una visión de nuestro mundo desde un punto de vista disparatado.
