SINOPSIS
El vuelo 815 de Oceanic Airlines, que iba de Sídney (Australia) a Los Ángeles (Estados Unidos), se estrella en una remota isla del Pacífico. Debido a diversos problemas ocurridos durante el vuelo, el avión tuvo que desviar su trayectoria después de haber perdido las comunicaciones. Esto deja a un grupo de supervivientes en una isla en medio de la nada.
Después del accidente, los pasajeros supervivientes se dan cuenta de cuál es su situación, y de que es posible que nadie vaya a rescatarlos en un futuro próximo. Además, desde muy pronto comienzan a observar fenómenos extraños en la isla, y entienden que si quieren sobrevivir van a tener que permanecer juntos.
