SINOPSIS
Perspicacia, inteligencia y humor negro. El efecto 'House' para las series de medicina llega ahora a las series sobre abogados con 'Boston Legal'. Del excelente conocimiento sobre la agenda legal y la creatividad de David E. Kelley ('La ley de los Ángeles', 'Ally McBeal', 'El Abogado') resultan unos personajes sólidos con personalidad propia que ponen a prueba su ética personal a favor de unos casos siempre comprometidos.
A pesar de ser un spin-off de la serie 'El Abogado', 'Boston Legal' brilla por sí sola. Con unos diálogos bien construidos, un ritmo trepidante, y una puesta en escena muy profesional se ha instaurado como un incono en la series 'legales', por encima, incluso, de su predecesora.
Los ganadores de los premios Emmy por esta serie James Spader ('Lobo', 'Sexo, mentiras y cintas de vídeo') y William Shatner (el mítico capitán Kirk de 'Star Trek') interpretan a Alan Shore y Denny Crane, los principales abogados de un prestigioso buffete de Boston. Junto a ellos está el atractivo Brad Chase (Mark Valley, 'Urgencias', 'CSI'), recién llegado de la central en Washington para supervisar y poner freno a la extremadamente liberal manera de llevar el buffete del socio mayoritario Denny Crane.
Destaca el papel de Shirley Schmidt, interpretado por la cinco veces ganadora de Emmys por su trabajo en Murphy Brown, Candice Bergen ('Ricas y famosas', 'Gandhi', 'Sexo en Nueva York'); una de los socias fundadoras y recientemente nominada a un Globo de Oro por su trabajo. Completa el reparto la bella Monica Potter ('La hora de la araña', 'Con Air').
