SINOPSIS
Earl Hickey es un delincuente de cuarta y que toda su vida se la paso haciendo lo que queria sin pensar en si molestaba a alguien o no. La situación cambiará después de ganar U$S 100.000 dolares en la loteria pero tras ser atropellado por un coche, Earl, pierde el boleto ganador.
Ya en el hospital, tras ser atendido, Earl, se pone a pensar y saca la conclusion, mirando un programa de television, de que fue obra del Karma y decide replantearse la vida y darle un cambio diferente. En una lista escribe las malas acciones que ocaciono durante ese tiempo de delicuencia y que debera darle un vuelco.
Una vez tachada la lista tras las nuevas buenas acciones, debera recuperar el boleto ganador y se lanza a una nueva vida y aventura atraves de las calles de los Estados Unidos, junto a su pequeño hermano Randy que es de una naturaleza muy infantil e inmadura y está enamorado de Catalina, una atractiva empleada del motel donde residen
